Stepping Stone ensures a healthy, safe start to life for local, under-resourced children by providing basic essentials for their earliest days to age three. They alleviate a specific burden for families who have to choose between buying diapers or buying groceries. To build an inventory of essentials, Stepping Stone relies on the donation of new and nearly new items through individual giving and grassroots community drives. They sort, clean, and bundle orders, and then their team of volunteers delivers them to parents, caregivers, and children.
